Harbour Patrol

The Harbour Master operates a Harbour Patrol Launch within the limits of the Port of Southampton.

Harbour Patrol is mainly used to escort large commercial vessels safely into or out of the harbour.

The Harbour Patrol launches maintain a listening watch on channel 12 (call sign Southampton Patrol).

ABP have a number of vessels associated with the Harbour Master and may assume this role.
